Mohammad Keyvan was born in Tehran in 1989. He is a graduate of Graphic design from the Kamal-al-Molk School of Art and has a BA in painting from the University of Art, Tehran, Iran. In Keyvan’s complex, large-scale paintings, one might find numerous references to the issues of contemporary society, scientific endeavours or conflicts, which have generally been combined with allusions to the history of art. His art extensively references art history and methods of visual expression and deconstruction, juxtaposing these in innovative pictorial spaces. Mohammad Keyvan has received several prestigious awards, and his works have been displayed in several solo and group exhibitions.
